*Cowboy Cutie* (OPEN!!!!) « Thread Started on Nov 21, 2008, 12:53am »
Dark brown shiny cowboy boots strutted into the cafeteria. Nice blue jeans held tight around the waist with a brown belt and big silver buckle that read Rodeo Finals '07 that had a picture of a reining horse and a steer, a gleaming white western shirt tucked in matched the color of the straight teeth on the cowboy's crooked grin. His coffee colored eyes were shaded from his slick black cowboy hat, but when he tilted his head up at the right angle, you could see them sparking with passion.
One could see why other guys would be jealous of him. He was just so charming, and good looking. The girls always turned their heads, and his mysterious, shadowed face only made their hearts pump with wonder and curiosity.
Now the 21 year old walked over to the trays and grabbed one. He held it in one hand by his side as he walked around looking at food he thought fit to eat. A cheeseburger and fries with ketchup sounded good. He put the food on his tray and strutted through the crowd feeling looks of envy and longing. He grabbed a glass of sweet iced tea and sat alone at a rectangular table.

Nineteen year old Jenny Collins grinned as she looked at who walked in, a gorgeous cowboy! Jenny smiled. She was single, her and Jack had broken up when she caught him with a new girl. Jenny's hair was in pig tails with lime bows. She wore a cowgirl hat, a hot pink western shirt that she had half buttoned and tied with a white tank under i and she was wearing jeans with twisted x boots and spurs. She got up from where she'd been working on hertudys and went to where he sat. "Can I sit here?" She said sweetly. "Jenny Collins by the way."

He was about to take the first bite into the greasy hamburger, when spurs could be heard walking through the crowd. He looked over to where they were coming from. The young cowboy couldn't believe it. She wore it all, the hat, the tight jeans around her thighs, the spurs, the boots.
His coffee colored eyes watched with pleasure as the girl walked over to him. He stared at the way her hips moved, she was a cowgirl.
A crooked grin flashed across his face when she walked straight to him showing his white, straight teeth. He tilted his head slightly so she could see his eyes, he winked quickly, leaving her to wonder if he actually did or not, "Of course you can country cutie," he grinned and held a hand out for her to shake, "It's nice to meet you Jenny. Name's Clay Burton."

-His eyes were breath takeing, his voice was smooth. She souldn't help but grin. "Thanks cowboy." She said sitting down. "Nice to meet you to Clay." She said with a bright smile. "I haven't seen you arround here you new?" Jenny asked and then like the souther girl she was she sliced and began eating her steak that was cooked medium and lightly soaked with A1 sauce.

Clay took another bite from his hamburger. When he smiled, his teeth always stayed white, no matter what he ate or drank. Every night he used teeth whitener and wore a retainer. He smiled, "Yeah. Just got here about five hours ago," he said grabbing his glass and slurped sweet iced tea down his throat.
He liked this girl, the first one who actually flirted with him. Back home the girls flocked him. Here, he realized he was lucky to get a glance. It was a change, he wasn't so big shot to these folks as the ones from his home town where he ruled the roost. But perhaps he could make his way up there. He grinned crookedly, "You been here long?"

-Jenny smiled back at him. "Yeah, since I was sixteen, now I'm ninteen, I'm a freshman in college, and a vet tech in training at Lacey Chabert's office." She paused and looked into his beautiful eyes. "Welcome To Cinnamon Ridge Riding School" she grinned and began eating her steak and sippin' some rootbeer. "Did you bring any horses? or are you going to use a school one?"

Clay listened to her talk, she seemed to have a glow that he couldn't get over. He raised his brows, "You know the ropes around this place huh?" he asked taking a drink of iced tea.
He cocked a brow to her next question, "You might regret asking that. I can go on and on about Tex," he grinned, "Tex is a sorrel quarter horse gelding, about nine years old. We won the Finals Championship Rodeo in team penning last year. Hoping to this year," he glanced down at his belt buckle, "His full name is Texas Tornado," he looked back up into Jenny's eyes, "The king around my house."
The young cowboy was tempted to talk about the 'Queen' of his dorm, but decided against it. He had this girl going for something. Maybe she didn't like the feline species?

-Jenny giggled at what he said. "Texas Tornado. I like that, must be because I'm texas cowgirl." Jenny said smoothly. "I have two, Struck By Greese Lightning, aka Truck, she is my mare, an english horse but I couldn't see her go. Then Mr.Coffee who is being sold, as soon as get that check he is going to another riding school." She said with a grin. "I've also got a cat named Joey, funny part is I found out later its a girl. My dog, he is so cute, he is a welsh corgi puppy named hondo." She said with a grin. "So why did you come to Cinnamon?"

The cowboy nodded, "Yeah, I had to keep my heritage," he replied to the comment about his horse's name. He was from Texas as well, "Your horses sound neat, why is he going to another riding school?" the boy questioned.
He raised his eye brows to the mention of her cat, "Really?" he was rather surprised, "That's funny. I have a cat too." Clay nodded. He could go on and on about cats. He loved them as much as horses, but he was trying not to ask too many questions, after all, it was just a cat right? Wrong. Princess was not just any cat. She was Clay's cat, and treated like a queen. She acted like one, "Her name is Princess. She's a Russian blue, very pretty green eyes." He luckily stopped himself before he mentioned her hot pink collar with it's polished silver bell and how she ate only the most expensive canned food, "What's yours?"
He might as well forget about dogs. He liked them, somewhat. Okay, so he was rather odd, but still charming, "Your dog does sound kinda cute," he grinned, but in his head, he just blew it off. Her last question, well, why did he come here? "I was looking for a equine college, and found this place. The price sounded reasonable and I had never been to this part of the country so I decided to give it a try."

-Jenny smiled big "Awe she sounds really cute, Joey is a silly girl, I love her. Hondo likes to work Cattle. Mr. Coffee is going off to Sky Bar Academy in wisconsin because he is an amazing horse, but I'm more into Rodeo, I got intouch with my roots. I love Texas, and I miss it alot. I'm going to compete in cutting this year. Cinnamon is a great school its just not well known." The great horse Jenn had been looking at was named Forever And Ever Amen, but Jenn had nicknamed him Eddie. Jenny smiled all big eyed, "So you want the grand tour?"

The cowboy grinned crookedly at her last question, "Only if you're the guide," he winked and took the last sip of tea in his glass.
Now this was more like it, he starting to feel at home already. This girl understood him, well, from what she knew. Of course he was never going to admit how much he babied Princess. She was going to be cutting? Hmmm, "You know," Clay swallowed, "If you need any help with cutting," he eyed her, "which, I'm sure you know your ropes, but um, we'd be more than happy to accompany you."

-Jenny got up from the tabble and cleaned up her food. She smiled brightly, "Yeah that sounds fun. I've got to go pick up my new horse friday, Just one problem." She said becoming a bit glum. She was rather upset about it, she was going to have to see her ex, Jack. Jack was the new ranch forman and Jenny REALLY didn't want to see him. Jenny grabbed her bags and began the tour.

The boy stood up with her grabbing his tray. He noticed her eyes darkened slightly, and she seemed down, "What's the matter hun?" he asked, "I'd be more than delighted to help with whatever it is," he grinned setting his tray on the platform where the cooks took them to the back.

-Jenny sighed, "My Ex is next inline to be Forman of the ranch'm geting my horse from. The forman is leaving Friday to pick up some cattle so I'm going to have to see that jerk. Its ok I'm over him and I can handle it." She said perking up a little bit. Jenny headed outside "You've probly already seen the barns and the arenas so I'll show the school itself." She said walking to the building.
